An inauguration of the book was held on Tahsas 4/2001 E.C (December 13/2008). The translation is timely in that it has come when Islamic fundamentalism is working hard to leave its scar on Ethiopia. A review was presented at the inauguration by Dn. Berhanu Admas, editor- in –chief of Hamer Magazine.
According to the reviewer, the book shows the struggle in faith of Christens in Egypt. The book demonstrates how the lives of Nhad’s Christian compatriots and their Lord Christ have, through their love and perseverance, charmed her to the new life of salvation, Christianity.
In my days as an ardent Muslim, I was always stunned whenever Christians pay me in kindness as I harassed them, Nahad says in the book. She also testifies the protection Christ has offered her when Islamic security agents worked round the clock to arrest and give her untold atonement

Commemoration Necessary for Jimma Martyrs
The faithful have asked the church to build a commemorative house for the faithful martyred by Moslem fanatics on 4 Hidar 1999 E.C /14 Nov 2007/. In an inaugural ceremony of the Abune-Habtemariam church, Jimma diocese, on 14 Hidar 2001E.C / 23Nov.2008 / H.G. Abune Estifanos, Archbishop of the diocese, has said that the martyrs are torch-bearers in the lives of present day Christians.
Family members of martyrs have on the occasion asked why the promised commemoration is delayed for two years. Admitting that it is indeed late, the General Manager of the diocese, Liqe-Mezemiran Berhanu Gettu, has promised to get the construction work started by the beginning of this December.
The manager has asked all to lend their generous hands to ease financial constraints during the work.
Praise be to God. Amen!!
